the new isuzu extended cab
When Mitsubishi Storm first hit the market few years ago, I was one of those who celebrated the modernity of pick up vehicles. How cool was that! But since, there were many contemporary designs for extended cab, including Isuzu, which impressed many automobile fans with its stylish extended cab design. Well, it's no longer about functionality these days when it comes to vehicles, but the aesthetics seems to top it all. But the Isuzu is not just about aesthetics but it delivers equally as far as functionality is concerned. According to reviews, the Isuzu crew cab has received much positive remarks than its other competing makes. It's revered for its comfort, convenience, design, spaciousness and usability. Anyone seen it?

trucks are getting stylish too
Well, I don't know much about hardware stuff and I guess that's what the man in my house can come in handy :P When anything goes wrong with the cabinets or door hinges, I'll leave it to hubby to fix it up. These days, the trucks on the roads are getting more attractive in terms of the aesthetics and design. In fact, many of them are so nice that you wouldn't think they are meant for truck drivers only. Plus, you can purchase attractive and durable truck toolbox on the web, which is like an accessory to your cool truck. Many of these tool boxes come in different finishes and material so you can choose one that matches well with your truck. Trucks are no longer boring and stiff looking like before. Many car manufacturers are launching new designs and features to offer the modern and stylish generation.

used cars resource at your fingertips
When I was doing my postgraduate in Perth ten years ago, I did home stay with a lovely retired Australian couple. Taking a break from work for that year was one of the best decisions I had made in my life. What I really wanted at that time was to get an used car since it would be more convenient to drive to Uni than taking the bus. From where I lived, I needed to take 2 buses which took 30 minutes in traveling time and walked a further 20 minutes before reaching my campus. But if I drive, the journey would be less than 10 minutes. So imagine the time I could save if I had a car then.
How nice if the internet was so advanced at that time, if there was a site like AutoGuide.com which could provide me the platform to search for used cars. I could choose the brand I wanted, state my budget, select the style and the search features would bring me to the used cars that fit my criteria. You can even read reviews and feedback of the used cars by real drivers which help you to make better decision before selecting the right used car to purchase. This is one useful resource for anyone thinking of buying used cars.

the new definition for pickup driving

Allow me to take you back to some enjoyable clips of my childhood. I used to like riding in trucks and lorries. In those days, passengers were allowed to sit behind open top trucks and lorries. Why did I like it? It felt great when the winds hit the face... it simply felt so nice. Besides, when the truck picked up its speed, it can be full of thrill.
But gone are the days when you can sit or stand behind a truck. The traffic police will issue you a big ticket for that if you are caught. Besides, trucks have taken a new style and look. Just take a look at the Isuzu crew cab or extended cab. With space for goods behind, it can still carry 5 passengers comfortably. It's like 2 in 1 vehicle - functional and convenient, yet serving its purpose for people who need the extra loading space for business. The new extended cab has redefined pickup driving for today's savvy drivers.

have you driven a ford car before?

I could recall the excitement and joy the day I got my driving license. It felt great to know how to drive! It was those young women's thing at that time and I called out some close friends for a celebration! For a long time I didn't have a car until I stepped out of the working world. Being a young graphic designer, I could only afford used cars so I borrowed some money from my parents and shared an used Ford with my brother. We looked through the classified ads and after a few viewings, we finally bought a Ford Focus 1.6 Lx from one of the Ford dealers.
Being a hatchback with power assisted steering, the Ford Focus was easy to manoeuvre and drive around. Other than some occasional screeching from the brakes, it was an used car that served both my brother and myself for more than 5 years. At 1.6 Lx, it wasn't as powerful as some Japanese car models, but the price was affordable and it seemed to save on petrol too. If I could recall, we only had to send it to the mechanics twice, one occasion was to fix the electric windows which wouldn't move up and down smoothly and the other problem was the car brakes.
We were thankful not to experience any accidents during that 5+ years except for some gentle knocks and dents. On one occasion, I ramped up a big kerb and almost thought I had lost the tyres but to my surprise, the car drove off fine except for some scratches on the rear door. Looking back, my brother got mad and banned me from touching that car for a fortnight.
We had both moved on to driving other cars now but the used car we shared brought us much memories of siblings bonding and the good old days of growing up. Have you driven a Ford before?

expert tips to finding used cars
I smell a conflict in the air... every other month, DH and myself will have this conflict about "who gets to use the car". Since the beginning of this year, I have been talking him into getting him a second car to avoid this 'car' conflict and though he agreed at that time, he changed his mind not long after. DH is a great believer of used cars. He doesn't subscribe to the idea of fast depreciation on new cars. The thing is looking for a good and reliable used car dealer can be challenging at times.Well, I guess that's what a niche site like Auto Guide is for. This is the place to find the used car that fits not just your budget, but with its powerful Guided Search System, you can choose the colour, style, mileage, location, and even one that fits your lifestyle! How cool is that!
With colourful photos and sellers' details, you are not kept in the dark on the purchase. Whether it's a Honda or a BMW, it is helpful to get expert tips on advice on what to look for when purchasing used cars. The website is full of useful information including video and audio reviews by the automotive expert, Bobby Likis.

sleek supercar wallpapers and screensavers
I was brought up with lots of independence by my working parents. As a young girl, I played with my brother and his friends - marbles, spinning tops, train sets, racing cars, remote control fast cars... everything else which some people termed as 'boys' stuff'. My dad was a fast car driver and he adored cars. Though we weren't wealthy, my dad had this habit of changing cars every 6-9 months and he just loved stylish sport cars. I supposed his passion for cars had influenced me in a mild way as I did enjoy fast cars too.
This explains why I tend to give nice cars, fast cars and racing cars a second look. Unfortunately, contrary to my dad, I have a hubby who doesn't adore cars. And he's at an extreme of not appreciating nice cars at all. So I can only dreamed about having one of those cool looking cars of my desire one day. But before that day arrives, downloading one of these high quality supercar wallpapers and screensavers is a good start. If you are a car lover, check out these high resolution wallpapers of car illustrations including Bugatti Veyron, McLaren, Ferrari, Saleen, Pagani, Porsche... and alot of other sleek, fast and supercars from other big brands.
These wallpapers are found at VCars, a site that sells new and used cars in the UK. Not only is it a great site to search for cars but car lovers can read up motoring news updated on a daily basis. What I like about the site is that there are nice photos to complement the information which gives the site a friendlier and attractive appeal. A nicely designed home page tends to say alot about the company and its products and services and VCars' home page has a stylish and professional header. Don't just take my word for it, head down to the site and check it out!

new or used?

Before we purchase our present car few years ago, I had a long conflict with my hubby on the issue of new cars or used cars. DH is one person who prefers used cars as the depreciation of new cars in this part of the world can be considerably high, especially with imported or premium cars.
I know my hubby will be very pleased to hear about chicago public auto auctions where different types of used cars are auctioned including luxury cars, foreign cars, domestic cars, cheap cars, trucks and SUVs. A good feature of this site allows potential buyers to view the cars on auction before the auction days, read more details and even ask questions via the live chat. Depending on your budget and preference, cheap used cars start at a low $200.
Did I mention that the auctions are taking place in Chicago? So you live in or near the region, you may like to pop by to check out the chicago car auction on this coming 14 and 28 July. And if you are really thinking of buying a used car, it's best to visit the site to view the auction cars first.

Read this if you are a driver
It looks like more teenage children are on the road these days. Sometimes, I wonder if it is too easy to acquire a driving license. With so many accidents committed by inexperienced young drivers, there is a call for more road safety education. There is a DVD program, "Rules of the Road" which provides an interactive learning tool for any new or young driver. Perfect if you have a teenage in the home who just got his driving license.
What is also useful would be to keep a set of AAA auto emergency kit in the driver's trunk. The 63 piece kit contains all the "must haves" including, rugged jumper cables, a tough flashlight, a mini first aid kit, a two-in-one screwdriver, duct tape, cable ties, and a handy AAA guide on how to change a tire!
If you are wondering what to get for your husband's next birthday, this is one good gift he will truly appreciate.
