ranting, ranting, ranting
It seems like DH is still not very forward thinking in his parenting style. He still thinks that children should only grow up with catching fish, playing marbles and climbing trees. We are no longer living in a kampung lah dude, this is the internet age, the 21st century! Those days, there was no internet, no mobile phones, no cable TV...etc. He's complaining that Clayton gets too many educational toys - is there a problem? C'mon, I think I have been moderate in buying toys and books for him; plus, they are for his development and growth... when is he moving away from this chinaman mindset? Sigh!

1 billion to make teh tarik in space???

Vedis sent me her grievances about this space BS... for many months, DH and myself have been ranting about this issue. Spend 1 billion to make teh tarik in space... what a crap! Do you know how many lives can be saved from 1 billion? Why not use the money to build better schools, better roads, hospitals and help those who don't even have a roof over their heads? Vedis said it so well in her post - go read it!
Anyone shares similar grievances?

ranting on Clayton's first day of holiday
It's the first day of the one week school holidays for Clayton and as usual, I am left with very little time for my own work. Being a full time work-at-home mom and managing the household responsibilities is a tiring task. Today, I'm so annoyed with the kitchen faucets in my kitchen. For the past few weeks, it has been been leaking and sometimes, I will be all wet when it sprays on my shirt. Clayton enjoys his 'water play' session when that happens and guess who has to clean up the mess?

irritated and upset
I'm feeling a little irritated and upset with some news I received from my blogging JeeMui, Shoppingmum... and in order not to stir up more anger, I rather not elaborate the details.
Why can't people mind their own business, earn their money, write their blogs and leave others alone to do the same? Why must they try so hard to harm others just so that they can stand a chance to earn another $5, $10 or maybe $50 more. I call this group of people - EFND - and this is an abbreviation that is to be shared with my close blogging buddies. In life, there is more to just insulting others, getting others into trouble and being a sore loser.
I am ranting cos' I'm sick to the stomach... I am truly annoyed with people who think so highly of themselves when they are too lousy and timid to compete fairly.

who is the next Lucky Duck?

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have seen this - it was white but when I clicked it, it was already grey :( How many of you are experiencing this too? Hands up!
Well, sharing the $7m funding is certainly great but it seems to be causing more anxieties and frustrations among many posties... I can sense many people with hearts pumping faster than one who ran a 3km track when they saw the Lucky Duck is WHITE. I was one of them (lol).
But somehow, I am taking this really easy. This month seems to be slow for me at PPP. Opps turn grey before I even have a chance to click it, even when I refresh my screen as often as I should. Problem is the server is seriously slow... well, can't complain, at last my internet is up:)

The weather is crazy lately!
Oh... it's storming out there tonight. The weather has been quite bad lately - hot and humid one moment, and then, thunderstorms, the next. Due to this 'hot-cold' transitions, many people are vulnerable to respiratory illnesses. I'm thankful that I don't have to get out of the office like some people do, so blessed to work from home.
Hmm... looks like it's a nice night to snooze...
