I have been practising these deep breathing exercises in the last 3 months since dh came back from his Qi Gong workshops. Though I can't point out how the breathing exercises have been benefiting my health, I know for sure that there has been an increased alertness and energy after each session. It seems to 'wake me up' from that lethargy and tiredness.
The truth is few of us breathe deeply enough. Deep breathing helps to oxygenate our blood and drive oxygen into our bloodstream... have you breathed deep today?
