quality time together in the garden
Lately, we have been spending time in the garden when the evening sun is not scorching hot. Since recovering from that bout of diarrhea and vomiting (whatever is the cause), I learned to do more fun things together with Clayton - simple things like spinning windmill in the garden, counting the snails after the rain, kicking football and messing with the garden hose. In fact, I can't wait for him to recover totally so that he can try out his new swimwear!
It only takes an adversity to teach us how to appreciate the simple things in life sometimes... and often, the simplest doesn't cost a cent - only our time. Parents, are you listening?
