Well, what sort of spy gadget can we possibly create in the house, I wonder. How about a spy secret book, one that can fit in secret disk, microchip, security key or private information? Uploading your video into youtube in a flash

Vedis asks me to make a point detailing the steps to creating a video. Honestly, Vedis, I'm no expert, in fact, I'm still wondering how to create a better one with better resolution as you may notice that the image on my youtube video is often distorted or not synchronized.

Anyway, the easiest is to get a webcam - you can buy an external one or some labtops these days are equipped with built-in webcam. Youtube allows you to do a quick capture via the webcam in your computer and all you need to do is to follow the instructions on the screen.

Alternatively, record your video using digital camera. Upload it via youtube via the 'Upload video' function. It usually takes minutes to see your uploaded video, depending on the size of the file and how long is your video. Once uploaded, just copy the embedded code and paste into your blog post.

That's it, Vedis - no magic lah... told you, I'm no expert :)

This is Clayton's favourite chinese song. It's almost complete except for a few missing words. It is our desire to expose him to Mandarin and truly glad that he is enjoying Baobei everyday. The teachers adore him and that helps! The song is 'Ke Ren Lai' which means 'the guest is here'...

One of the perks of parenting a 31 months toddler is when he starts to hum a tune he learns from school. I cannot explain how it feels but it is nice to hear him sing a song, though it may not sound complete. The smiles on his face says it all... I caught him on video...

A recipe video

Here's how to prepare Shrimp Pad Thai:

Ingredients:

• Pad Thai Noodles, 10 oz.
• Sliced Shrimp, 6 oz.
• Bean Sprouts, 1 oz.
• Scallion, 1 oz.
• Whole Egg, 1 each
• Pad Thai Sauce, 4 oz.
• Ground Peanut, 1 tsp.
• Lime Wedge, 1 each
• Bean Sprouts, 1 oz.

• Pad Thai Sauce
• White Wine Vinegar 1qts
• Tomato Paste 2oz
• Sugar 3cups
• Fish Sauce 2cups
• Minced Garlic 1/4cup
• Jalapenos Minced 3ea
• Chili Flakes 1tbls
• Soy Sauce 2cups
• Yield 2 quarts

Instructions:

Bring heat to high on wok.
Add oil, egg and noodles; stir; add all vegetables; mix well.
Add Pad Thai Sauce and shrimp; stir very well.
Garnish with nuts, lime and sprouts

Watching short videos in the internet is no longer a novelty. Most of us have heard about Youtube videos and at least watched at least a video from our computer. In fact, some internet marketers have capitalized on this popular media and created much business opportunities out from this new technology.

While I do enjoy some funny videos, there are just too many to browse from with the massive number of submissions everyday at Youtube from all over the world. Quality time

The Internet is not working too smoothly since the Taiwan earthquake. I read about the many complaints from bloggers in the newspapers. As much as it is inevitable to feel frustrated and upset with the internet disruption, maybe we should also take it easy and spare a thought for those who are suffering from the earthquake.

Families are lost, homes destroyed, people injured, devastation and sadness is in the air. And all we do is to feel upset because 'our lives' and businesses (for some) are disrupted and affected but would our situation be worst that those sufering from these calamity.

We took Clayton out to KidzSports Gym since we can't do much work anyways. He had such a ball of a time... exploring the tunnels, the rides, slides and crossing barriers. They say that children learn well through play and I can't deny this truth at all.

Go do something that doesn't require the internet these few days and you will be surprised that there are many more neat things to do other than getting upset over the temporary internet disruption.
