healing reactions continues

The healing reactions from my detox are getting a little comfortable. Fever comes and goes with a lot of catarrh elimination. Not the best time of my life but it is necessary to complete this detox process. Healing reactions should be seen as positive signs though it is hard to logically accept it since no one likes to get more ill during the detox process. Imagine feeling bored, controlled and then, fever and cough... well, somehow, I know it's doing me more good than harm and I just have to go on believing in how Mother Nature does its healing and repair work. And now, I lost my voice... so don't attempt calling me k?

Anyone due for a detox?

bbw dating site

What a cool idea. BBW dating site for BBW singles, plus sized women, chubby girls, oversized ladies seeking for friends online. Well, BBW stands for Big Beautiful woman or if you like, Big, Bold woman - lol. But seriously, this is one online dating site dedicated to help bbw singles find their handsome men or cool dudes. I find the header kinda cool with this smiley oversized lady with a sweet smile. At first, I didn't understand why are all the photos of the women are chubby in nature until I read further.

Sometimes, women of are bigger in size tend to have difficulties finding their dates and with this dedicated site, they don't have to feel uncomfortable and embarassed cos those searching on the site have come to know what to expect. Interesting.

4 year old girl killed

Why do these people have to do this to a little girl? My heart goes out to the family, esp the mother when I read this this morning. The headlines sent me with tears in my eyes... I wouldn't know how it felt last time but now that I'm a mum myself, I do. It is so painful and sad. She wouldn't think a few seconds of stepping away from the car could lead to the death of her own daughter. Imagine the remorse she is going through now.

Parents: do not leave your kids in the car even for a slight second. I treat this as a lesson for myself too. I used to leave Clayton in the car and run into the organic store to grab my vegetables and fruits - but not anymore... no more.

I hope that justice is served to the ones who caused the death of this girl.

A busy three year old

I'm getting annoyed with Clayton scratching DVDs and throwing them around the house like toys. And he thinks it is fun! Lately, I found out that some of his expensive Baby Einstein DVDs are scratched and damaged.

I was reading DVD Burning Software Reviews and found out that there are DVD copying software that allows me to do backups of movies and shows. Though it may be an investment at first, I can rest assured that with a playful boy at home, our DVDs can be well protected or backed up should he go rampage again!

Lucky Seven - Weekend stay in JW marriott

Everybody was talking about Lucky Seven on 7 July 2007... well, was yours lucky?

We were greeted with a surprise on that Lucky Seven saturday with a last minute notice that we needed to stay in JW Marriott for the weekends. I was supposed to be excited but when it was so last minute. Well, this was a 2 -nights stay in a Junior Suite voucher we had for a long time but DH just didn't want to schedule for it for a year - how usual of him.

Anyways, we decided not to waste the stay and headed to town for the weekend. Somehow, it wasn't the best thing to do as I was in the midst of my detox. So you could guess that I didn't enjoy it as much as I should - I could eat in the nice restaurants in The Feast, I needed to pack all my supplements, I could have my steamed potatoes and yogurt - I was hungry! And the bathtub was so small that I couldn't do a proper coffee enema.

So we stayed for a night and headed home the next day... staying in a hotel is nothing like home, I concluded, unless I'm on a vacation :)

Anyone got a Lucky Seven experience to share? Join in the carnival at Angela's and tell everyone about it!

used and new cars

Even selling used cars online is becoming popular these days. Talking about used cars remind me of my husband. He's one who prefer used cars over brand new though I managed to convince him to get a new one few years ago - lol. He always thinks that new cars face high depreciation so he rather lets someone else takes care of that.

Online used cars websites like the one in BuyYourCar is a one-stop place for buyers to find Used Cars of their choice. The websites offers good packages for dealers so that when they place listings on the website, they get individual listings, cars appear in dedicated pages, pages list by the brands, regional searches, cars searchable by users' local area.

The website is clean and simple, with pleasing soft colours, making it visually appealing and the home page shows the car listings in photos and brief descriptions including price, location, mileage, colour...etc. There are also buying advices for the general public and useful reviews on a wide range of cars. And if you like to sell your car, you can create your own advertisement directly with BuyYourCar for only £2.45 which includes a 2 week listing plus a photo. Creating your own car advertisement is only 5 minutes with the unique system. There is no cause of worry if you feel that you make a mistake with the ad cos the system allows you to make amendments too.

I forgot to mention that new cars are also available for search on the website too.

experiencing healing crises

I was experiencing healing crises on the weekends so that wasn't very exciting. This was all part of the detox process and healing crisis indicates the release of toxins from the body. It was not the best experience but was necessary for recovery. Healing crises could get worse with people with serious illnesses or on long term heavy medications. Yet, nothing should be done to suppress the elimination of toxins as this might hinder the detox process.

I'm onto my 5th day and this has been one of the best detox. Somehow, I am not tempted by yummy foods and the weekends was a breeze. I am worried that it is going to be hard at first cos weekends are the times we eat out and I look forward to it!

Anya Hindmarch - I am not a Plastic Bag! - Pt 2

On Friday, I wrote about how Anya Hindmarch "I am not a plastic bag" swept its KLCC outlet by storm. I promised to post the photos - thanks to ParisB, who went at 8am, hoping to buy one for her and (for me) - I longbang her lah. Well, she saw the Q and sent me an sms... that Q was crazy. Then what more, there was no guarantee that you could get the bag even if you queue for few hours lo...

Well, I checked straight at eBay and found a seller whose selling price for the bag was lesser than the rest ($80+), so out of curiosity, I bidded. Know what, after I did that, I scroll down the page and guess what I read?

Well, this seller was very misleading as his title did not specify that he was selling an online guide. He had intentionally put this statement only at the bottom. Well, thank God I was outbid! Or else, I would be so silly to buy an eBook on How to Buy Anya Hindmarch bag - who cares!

spread your business

Entrepreneurs and business owners are constantly thinking of creative ways to market their products and services and I am so glad that the internet technology gives alot of leverage when it comes to that. If you are a business owner who wants to think out of the box, try expanding your network online in social network and directories. Here is Merchant Circle, an online directory that allows you to create your business profile where you can add photos, promotions, articles and even blogs on your products and services.

But don't just stop there cos the Merchant Circle forum is a great place to mingle, exchange ideas, update yourself, discover new business opportunities and expand your business network. This is a brand new for business owners to communicate and stay in touch with each other. And what more, this is great for business people who do not have their own websites!

Detox Day Two

Weekend is around the corner... I wonder what everyone's plans would be. For me, it's one of those weekends I don't get to eat in my favourite restaurants cos this is a detox week for me. Maybe DH will be kind enough to eat in an organic restaurant with me where I can munch on green salad while both he and Clayton can enjoy some yummy organic fried rice and noodles.

It's the 2nd day and I'm feeling fine - at least no giddiness or headaches except for an itchy throat. Well, just in case you are wondering what do I eat during this detox time - it's plain homemade yogurt with my favourite mango (thank God!), potato/carrot soup and steamed broccoli without any seasonings, of course. How does that sound to you?

Jamie reads well

I always wonder why Ming can read so well at a young age of 6. So out of curiosity, I have a chance to catch up with Ming's mum during one of the mommies' gathering. Just as I expected, Ming has been exposed to fun and interactive learning program with reading tutors at Score educational centers. What impresses me is her strong comprehension skills and wide vocabulary at that young age. She carries out a conversation confidently and skilfully with her use of words and language. I guess I don't have to start looking when the time comes.

Anya Hindmarch - I am not a Plastic Bag!

Well, this is the cheapest designer bag and it's sweeping the fashion scene like crazy! Retailing only at $10 at first, it's now $15 but ebay sellers are earning quick bucks by selling it at more than 10x the price!

This bag is officially launched in Malaysia today. At 8am in the morning, there was already couple of hundred people queuing to purchase this limited edition bag. Why not for RM50-RM60? Many of these people are not the fashion conscious nor are they so ardent about saving the environment - they are in business!! Watch out for the photo of the crowd.

Early learner program

I have heard this term, innovative tutor, being used among parents with growing children but only recently have understood what it really meant. After checking out the Score learning programs, I am impressed with the style of teaching and fun learning environment created by the tutors for the young children. I believe the pre kindergarten early learning will excite Clayton when he turns 4. Being an active boy, he will appreciate interactive and independent learning and Score Early Learner Program has it all.

Jesus heals

I wrote about what happened to me past few days in my home office women blog. It was scary, worrying, depressing and tiring. I dragged myself up the stairs. I felt like I was 10 years older. I wasn't moving around like normal. Even carrying Clayton made me breathless. Tell you, I was so scared.

I finally sought the Lord and spilled the beans to Him. I surrendered this wheezing, night cough, rhinitis and physical weakness. I had never felt so sick in the last many years, not to a point where climbing up a flight of stairs was a chore. I couldn't even had enough energy to shout at my little boy and he had been quite a handful lately too.

This morning, I woke up feeling different. Something happened. I wasn't wheezing like the last two days. I knew He touched me. I don't care what you are thinking, but if you know how I was like the last few days, you will agree with me that something divine has happened.

God is healing me.... He touched me.

in love with Melbourne city

Of all the Australian cities, the ones that left me much memories are Perth and Melbourne. Perth - because I studied there and Melbourne - the first Australian city I visited in 1994. Melbourne is a cosmopolitan city with diverse cultures, characteristics, sights and attractions. I have been there 5-6 times and never get sick of this beautiful city. The only problem I have is the extreme weathers within a day. Basically, one can experience 4 seasons in a day so you do need to be prepared for both extremes.

I love strolling along St Kilda's beach and its row of lifestyle shops, restaurants, unique retail stores and most of all, enjoying fish and chips by the beach. The Sunday flea market is one of my favourite with lots of local handmade stuff from soaps to paintings to recycled items.

The Queen Victoria market is the most popular tourists' hangout though I must prefer the fresh food section than the souvenir sheds. Whatever it is, just don't miss out on the Bratwurst Sandwich shop when you are there - you won't miss it cos it's one of those shops that has a long queue!

Finding cheap Melbourne hotels is a piece of cake once you do your research. There are lots of Melbourne accommodation ranging from 2 - 5 stars, and you need to decide on your budget and preference before doing your search. My recommendation for anyone who hasn't been to Melbourne is to find Melbourne hotels that are situated in the city. That way, you can move about by foot and tram as self-driving in the city is expensive and congested. With all the malls, retail stores and dining restaurants in the city, moving around in Melbourne is so convenient and easy. When it comes to shopping in Melbourne, you are spoilt for choices - David Jones, RM Williams, Laura Ashley, Country Road, Sportsgirl, Canterbury... you better go prepared with some extra credit in your credit cards!

On to the Carribean

The other day, I cut out an article on Caribbean vacation and pasted it on my home office wall. DH was staring at the article and photos and he knew I was fantasizing again. Well, I pasted that in front of me to remind myself to work towards a vacation like this. Sail in a Carribean cruise, dine in nice casual restaurants and be swept away by the tranquility of ocean waves. But the thing is the Carribean isn't just about the pristine waters, nature in the Caribbean includes volcanic peaks to deep valleys, wildlife, exotic flowers and unique plants, natural springs, rainforests, and even deserts.

I see this in Discovery Channel all the time and this is one place I must visit. The relaxing ambience and turquoise blue waters of the Carribean islands is known to all travelers in the world. No one likes to give this place a miss if given the chance to. I was surfing the internet the other day and came across some luxury accommodations and cruises in the Carribean and was enchanted, mesmerized and 'sold'! With more than 30 major islands to choose from, you can't run out of things to enchant you in the Carribean.

Anyone been or dreaming for a holiday like this too?
